Daniel planned an excellent get away weekend for our class that included snow skiing at Winterplace and hanging out with his family in their hometowns in the "Hollar". We even enjoyed a visit to ODD West Virginia and Missionary Baptist Church (My FAVORITE part of the trip) where attendance the week before had been 18. Mrs. Altis was a FABULOUS host and now her home shall be known as "Altis Manor". We all felt like we were at a Bed and Breakfast as the sleeping quarters were warm and cozy and hot meals met us everytime we walked through the door. As singles who live alone this weekend was a real treat. Each of us are extremely independent and just not used to having so many people take care of us like they did. Even Daniels Aunts, Uncles and Cousins treated us to a meal and invited us to participate in a 1st B-day party. Keith lead our quiet time and "Valerie" beat us all at a game called Sing that Hymn. We can't wait for you to meet Valerie.
The best part is that since only ONE of us who shall remain nameless tried to burn down Altis Manor, Mrs. Altis has invited us back.
